Taylor Swift Raves About Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco’s Latest Album
Swift Shows Love for I Said I Love You First
Taylor Swift couldn’t contain her excitement over Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s newly released album, I Said I Love You First. Just a day after its debut on March 22, the pop icon took to Instagram Stories to shower the project with praise.
Tagging Gomez and Blanco, Swift wrote, “I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH,” alongside a screenshot of the album on Spotify and a link for fans to purchase it.

A Look at the Album’s Tracklist
The collaborative album features an impressive lineup of songs, including previously released tracks such as Scared of Loving You, Sunset Blvd, Younger and Hotter Than Me, and Call Me When You Break Up, which features Gracie Abrams. The full collection also includes Ojos Tristes, Don’t Wanna Cry, Cowboy, Bluest Flame, How Does It Feel to Be Forgotten, Do You Wanna Be Perfect, You Said You Were Sorry, I Can’t Get Enough, and Don’t Take It Personally.
Gomez Reflects on Working With Blanco
In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Gomez opened up about collaborating with her fiancé on the album, expressing how meaningful the project was for them. “It felt like a little glimpse of who we are and how we created this together. We loved making it, and we love each other. It just felt like fate,” she shared.
A Love Story in Music
Gomez and Blanco’s romance began in June 2023, and the couple engaged later that year. The singer-actress made the big announcement on December 11, posting an Instagram carousel featuring her marquise-cut engagement ring with the heartfelt caption, “Forever begins now.”
Swift & Gomez’s Deep Musical Bond
Swift and Gomez have no shallow end of friendship, especially regarding music. As Gomez recalled in 2019, she played Lose You to Love Me for Swift and Andrea Swift, her mother. That emotional moment brought them all to tears.
Gomez looks back: "'It wasn't just about the song's success: they were there for me through the journey, through thick and thin, and watching me go into a new chapter of my life was just a feeling of, phew.'"
