Snoop Dogg Says Goodbye to Beloved French Bulldog Juelz
Recently, the news about the passing of the beloved French bulldog Snoop Dogg has moved his entire legion of fans across the globe. The announcement was made when the rapper paid his tribute to the small canine that had been with Snoop for a good 10 years on Instagram. Juelz was a birthday present from Wiz Khalifa, Snoop's long-time friend and fellow artist; hence, it was not very long before this animal captured the lion's share of Snoop's love. In this post, the montage was rather emotional, depicting some of the memories while accompanied by the heartrending "See You Again" by Khalifa and Charlie Puth. The montage contained very happy and humorous moments shared between them. While Snoop may be mostly known for his hits and cool vibe, people who know him well recognize the huge amount he loved this little furball.

A Gift from a Friend, A Friend for Life
Alluding to the on-duty dog role, Juelz was part of Snoop Dogg's family. The Frenchie took this fame to its fullest: he appeared in the rapper's house and was groomed as a social media star, ranking to an incredible 51 plus followers on Instagram. His fans would see snippets of Juelz in his glamorous life, glancing around beside Snoop, traveling in style, or killing time with props ranging from dollar bills to Darth Vader masks. And what cemented that friendship was neither fame nor lifestyle, but loyalty and love. Far from it, Juelz's presence meant more: A friendship in a way that transcended humans, gifted by one of Snoop's closest collaborators. Simply put, Juelz would be under a story: After the king of stars comes the kin at his purest.
More Than a Pet: Juelz Was a Cultural Icon
Juelz wasn’t a pet that lived behind closed doors; he had a very subtle, somewhat notable persona that he lent to Snoop's public realm. Juelz held much of the allure on social media, performing in the same grand manner his master did. In 2021, Snoop co-hosted the Puppy Bowl with Martha Stewart, declaring further his adoration for animals.
In 2022, he even took it a step further by producing a line of dog accessories with a clever brand name mark: "Snoop Doggie Dogg." Unlike most celebrity pet businesses that just seem like a quick cash grab, this one seemed genuine, forged over years of visual evidence of affection and undiluted passion. In the same year, Snoop took his Cali Rosé brand to dog-friendly parks in Australia, advertising via pint-sized billboards. Despite everything, Juelz remains his number one “guard dog.” Present, ever loyal.
A Legacy of Love That Lives On
Although Juelz died, his memory continues to inspire Snoop Dogg to this day and to all who traveled with them. However much fame he may have had, Snoop kept reminding the world about the simple pleasures pets present. The parting salute to Juelz was not the usual goodwill of a star; it also became an almost mass-sharing moment for fellow pet lovers. Most importantly, it featured the rare and deep relationships between humans and their dogs that no amount of time or fame could ever replace. While Juelz may no longer walk among their homeland friends, their memories, pictures, and great love that filled Snoop's home once upon a time remain deep inside his heart and soul and resound through his music.
